Feedback Dec 2011: I have just ordered my second pair of Rainoffs
after my last pair wore out. I had my last pair for about 75,000 Kms of riding
over the last 5 years. They are to me, still, the only totally waterproof item
on the market. I think you should push the warmth as much as the waterproof. I
hate cold hands. After an accident, my circulation isn't too good in one hand.
I wear the Rainoffs in the wet and dry in cooler weather. I think they are at
least 30% warmer than without them. Even with heated handgrips, the inside of
the hand grip is warm or even hot, but the rest of the hand can be cold. With
the Rainoffs the warmth is overall. They are always with me when I set off on
any kind of a distance ride. I have convinced several of my riding friends to
invest in them as well. To date, I have not heard anyone not 100% satisfied
with the way they work. I thank you for producing an item that performs as you
say it will. Tony Simmons, Auckland, NZ
Feedback May 2011: I've had my Rain-off gloves for about 5 years now and they are fantastic. Not only are they waterproof but windproof, so even if it is dry but cold they keep my hands toasty. They don't take up much room when you are not wearing them so you can keep them in your jacket pocket. My wife loved hers when we were riding in the Snowy Mountains too. Unfortunately they do tend to melt when you drop them on your exhaust, but miraculously mine is still waterproof. Jeff Cole, Alice Springs, Australia
Feedback May 2011: Purchased your gloves last fall and decided to wait to give my opinion on how they work. Well, they are great! I am a year round rider and here in the great state of Washington our weather as of late for the most part really sucked. 100% water proof! Helps keep my hands warmer down to about 34 degrees then must breakout the heated gloves which are not so water proof. Stylish, not so much, but what are ya gonna do. Thanks for this great product. Thanks again, and again, and again, Dennis Dorr, Washington, USA
Feedback January 2011: Just wanted to let y'all know how freaking awesome these gloves are. I live in South Louisiana over here in the States. We're known for hot, humid, rainy, and sticky. However, our winters can get down in the teens, but the humid stays... so, cold and humid. The good thing, though, is that our winter is literally about 2-3 months long, then it goes straight into hot again. People joke that South Louisiana only has two seasons: summer and winter. This is great for the motorcyclist because most of the year is ridable, and we never get snow or ice. However, only a few people are crazy enough to ride year round. That's me. My bike is my main mode of transportation. I need to ride in hot and rainy, cold and windy, and everything in between. Now I haven't had the change to do hot and rainy in these gloves because I just got them, but I had the PLEASURE (yes, pleasure) to ride in 21 F, humid weather this morning. These gloves are amazing. This morning is the first time I've ridden in sub 40 degree weather with comfortable hands. Even my insulated winter gloves leave my fingers numb and frozen on my 20-30 minute commute to work. But this morning, I threw these rain-off gloves on over my winter gloves, and it was like a nice cozy sauna for my digits. Sure, it was a little cumbersome, but so is having no feeling in your fingers. Try to maneuver in rush hour traffic with numb hands, am I right? Because they're completely waterproof, they are ever so conveniently wind proof as well. I bought them for the wind-blocking capabilities, and I am not disappointed. I can't wait for our wet and soggy summers. Maybe I'll try them in a hurricane, and get back to you then. Thanks for an excellent yet simple product. You made a happy cajun down here in South Louisiana. Meggy Nesbit, Baton Rouge, LA
Feedback July 10:
Hi from the Coromandel! Just thought I'd give you some feedback on the Rain-off gloves which I've owned for a bit over a year. They're everything you've said and more besides - a fantastic product. As well as doing the primary job of keeping me dry, they're so flexible that you really don't feel any different to wearing gloves on their own. A real plus for me as I hate a lack of flexibility. I've even been wearing them this winter on dry, cold mornings as they also make a fantastic wind break, keeping my hands warm on the coldest of days. Geoff James, NZ.
Feedback September 09: In October 2008, my wife purchased a set of the three fingered Rain-off Overgloves for my birthday. I was so impressed with the quality of the product, I purchased a second set for her. In July 2009, my wife and I (along with another couple) set out on a 6,700 mile 18 day trip from Virginia to Yellowstone, WY and back. On the first day of our trip, it rained heavily for 8 of the 10 hours we rode. The overgloves worked perfectly. My hands were never wet or damp the entire day and the rain was constant and a real frog-strangler at times. The other couple's "water-proof" gloves were soaked halfway through the day. I was very impressed with the overgloves and very happy to have warm and dry hands. Additionally, we ran into cool temperatures in Yellowstone and while riding through the mountains of Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. My wife wore her overgloves with just her perforated summer gloves underneath and he hands were kept warm even in the 30F temperatures and gusty side winds. Thank you for the excellent product that not only exceeded my expectations and lives up to all your claims but makes it possible for my wife and I to be dry and comfortable even on those not so nice riding days. Sincerely, Rob Capozzi, Leesburg, Virginia, USA
Feedback June 09: I bought a pair of these funny looking gloves covers about 2 years ago and have used them on a 6000 km trip around the New Zealand South Island (Auckland and back) and they really saved my gloves. there's nothing worse than having to put on cold, wet, soggy gloves to go for another wet ride. I had a few heavy rain showers but my gloves stayed warm and dry. If you're serious about biking, get yourself a pair of these glove protectors. They'll keep your hands warm and protect your gloves from absorbing water and they're cheap enough. Gene - Auckland, New Zealand
Feedback 4th June 09:
Well, it took a while, but I finally encountered a "rain event" that I felt really tested the effectiveness of my Rain-Off Overgloves. My wife and I were riding our Gold Wing through central Illinois in mid-May 2009. There were some very dark clouds ahead, so we stopped to put on our rain gear. I tucked the gauntlets of my Rain-Off overgloves underneath the sleeves of my rain suit and we mounted the bike. Well, we had made a bad decision. The storm was much worse than I care to ride through. For the next 15 minutes, we rode through a severe downpour. In fact, it was so bad we ended up turning around and retreating to a motel in the town we had stopped in earlier to don our rain gear. When we turned on the television, we learned that there were tornadoes in the storm we had been attempting to ride through! The rain had been coming down so hard that my wife's rainsuit had failed (for the first time ever) and she got quite damp. Even so, you will be happy to know that my hands and leather riding gloves stayed TOTALLY DRY underneath the Rain-Off Overgloves. I was thrilled, since business requirements ( www.astronautbiker.com ) frequently dictate I ride through inclement weather. I now know that I have a way to keep my hands warm and dry under all riding conditions! The Ride-Off Overgloves are a quality item that work as advertised and I'd recommend them to anybody! Thank you. Duane "Digger" Carey.
Feedback 27th May 09 : I bought a pair of your over gloves last week and used them for the first time Sunday on the Edge Memorial Run down here in Christchurch. The weather that day was some of the worst that you would want to ride in raining and an outside temp of about 8 degrees. The over gloves were fantastic keeping my hands warm and dry making the ride one of the best I have had wet or fine. I would recommend them to everyone that rides. Cheers for a great product

Feedback 17th February 09:
Although I have heated grips on my bike, my hands are always freezing on the back from the airflow.
On Feb. 15th, 2009 at temperatures way below freezing I had a ride of about 300kms into the mountains North of Beijing, China. This time protected by the Rain-Offs. What a difference it made - no more freezing hands.
I felt a bit clumsy for the first few meters but got used to the overgloves very quick.
I had ordered 4 pair (2 x S and 2x M), which I brought along and sold the other 3 pair to other riders who were with me that day.
Thanks for this invention!

I know you like some feedback as do most companies these days so I can tell you that my first use of the 3 finger over-gloves was middle of last week when we had some light rain here in the City of London for my journey home from work - 11 miles door to door. No problem they were fine - took a bit of getting used to but I am pleased to say my gloves and hands were dry but it wasn't much of a test..
I didn't go out in the rain at the weekend but my son Steve, who I also bought a pair for, did use them for a BikeSafe day with the Metropolitan Police. The afternoon was heavy rain and he gave the gloves a good thumbs up ('scuse the pun). He doesn't have heated grips on his bike but felt there was no need now because of the over-gloves.
I used them again this morning - cold, with heavy rain for my trip into work - putting them on was quick and easy (as your instruction leaflet says) and my hands and gloves were dry upon arrival. Ihad no problem operating lights/horn/indicators/levers etc.,
The over-gloves really made the journey a lot more comfortable. I would say they are equivalent to the benefit you get from having heated grips on a freezing cold day on a long journey. Invaluable.
I'm glad I spotted your advert in the Golden Wing magazine for the Honda owners Club. (I ride a VFR by the way)
Best Regards

March 29th 2008…….Wake at 6am in the pits and stick me head outside the RV. Snow on the race Bikes. Season opener, Washington Motorcycle Road Racing Morning practice starts at 9am. The sweepers are out on the track since dawn. Bikes are out on the track for two laps and the riders are returning “Complaining”. Hands are Too cold. NOT ME. My Rain-Off's keep my hands cozy. Track temperature 32 F degrees (O C degrees) . 190+ mph and the wind factor is well into the minus's. Wet weather or cold I wear them and have done for 5 years now along with My S+M rain suit. Check out the photo's. Hey The gloves work a charm and the suit you commented on doesn't flap to pieces over 150 mph like some I've had.

Julie, Well, I am impressed! We had rain....West Texas black clouds rain....can't see far ahead rain! Gloves are COMPLETELY waterproof....gloves are useable - I had to "zip up" and could do so wearing the gloves.....the gaunlets are long, which I appreciate (all too often gloves are too short and the elements get in around the wrist. These are the points I will stress. A great product! More later.....

Feedback 26/06/08 : Guys, Just to let you know that I used your gloves on the last Grand Challenge (07) and a number of rides since. The most recent was coming back from the Brass Monkey. Great product! Although I have Spidi winter gloves (240 bucks). These are the only way to stay dry when it's pissing down. Seriously recommended to all riders who get out and about in the crap weather.
Cheers. Stu, Auckland, New Zealand
Feedback 08/03/08 (not only good for your bike!): You will be glad to know your rain-off gloves work well with my snow blower, last week 16" of fresh snow in my driveway and I wore them over my regular gloves and with the heated grips and the Rain-off gloves on, my hands were nice and warm and most of all DRY. thanks again Peter Allen, Colorado, USA.
